Kroger Northern Lights
You may have heard the Northern Lights Kroger is closing for business 1/31/2018. The Clinton Township Board of Trustees is working to help find a grocery store replacement. We have learned that Lidl is actively scouting in the Central Ohio area, and has recently entered the Columbus market. Lidl (https://www.lidl.com/about-us) offers “High quality. Low prices.” The board will be sending a letter encouraging Lidl’s real estate team to strongly consider Northern Lights as an option. As residents, we ask your help in filling out the survey at the link below to show how much we’d like to see them as a grocer in our area.
When you visit their site at the link below, scroll down to the bottom of the page, under the map. Please enter your name, then under “Company” please write “resident served by Northern Lights Shopping Center,” then add an email and phone number (from the Twp if you like: firstname.lastname@example.org and (614) 471-6854).The site address is “3353 Cleveland Ave. Columbus. OH 43224.” Under “size of site” please consider writing “variable up to 14.5ac.” It is zoned for grocery use, and it is currently on the market, so please check the “yes” box for those two questions. Do not worry about entering anything for the “price.” Do not worry about uploading any files, the Clinton Township Board of Trustees will take care of all documentation with their submission. Meanwhile, we want to encourage the community to do everything we can to make Lidl feel welcome, by having residents respond as well. https://www.lidl.com/real-estate
